Grandma's Candy Jar

Full disclosure, these jars are not repurposed, but when I saw them I was immediately sent back to the magical Christmases of my childhood, lifting the top off of Grandma's fancy crystal candy dish to reveal little anise sugar cubes wrapped tightly in red cellophane. So it had to be.

This scent is not the black jelly beans of Easter baskets - instead, it's subtle and warm, with toasted notes of clove and crushed fennel seed. Grandmacore to the max. 

Pairs with: a hand-sewn tree skirt, Burl Ives, Brandy Manhattans, roast turkey, wool sweaters, VHS tapes, a crackling fire.
